What is the “Level Up” in Drop-in, Level Up Class?

My favorite thing about this class is how customizable it is for pet owners. Not only because of its flexible schedule and pricing, but most importantly because of its ability to be flexible with different training goals. The main objective of this class is to work through the different levels, starting at the Intro level where you learn foundational skills and information work your way up from there to level 3. Our goal is to encourage people to always keep training and working with their dog to improve their bond, partnership, and behaviors.

Every week we focus on 2 skills/behaviors breaking them down into different levels for each team. We aim to build solid foundations for each behavior in the lower levels leading to strong behaviors in the higher levels that can be proofed to reliability.

There is no set timeframe for each level—take as much time as you need. When you feel ready, you can take the test to demonstrate the skills you’ve been working on, see how your training holds up, and hopefully graduate to the next level!

But what if I only have 1-2 behaviors/skills I want to focus on?

No worries! Remember this class is all about flexibility! Once you pass the Intro level or have completed our Basic Manners course, just let us know what your goals are, and we will work towards those instead! A lot of times this class ends up being like a bunch of mini private lessons where everyone is working on something different!

Not sure if your dog is ready for group classes? Training out of the budget, but you still want your dog to learn some stuff? Just want more opportunities to get out of the house and spend time with other dog lovers?

This weekly get together will be where for 45mins we work solely on letting dogs learn and get used to being in a new environment and settling around other dogs and people.

This is the perfect opportunity to bring a book and do some reading, work on that crochet or knitting project you’ve been putting off, bring a pair of headphones can catch up on an episode of your favorite show, of if you’re into it, talk to the other people around you. If the dogs are relaxed enough, I may be able to answer some questions on dog training as well!
